Washington Church records, 1749-1806.

This collection contains original church records kept by Rev. Daniel Brinsmade, photocopies of original records held by the church, and a scrapbook of newspaper articles compiled by Donald Lines Jacobus. Brinsmade was pastor of the church between 1749 and 1792. He recorded names of those baptized, members received, and details of church meetings. At the time the church was the Judea Society in Woodbury, Connecticut. In 1779 it was incorporated into Washington.
